Education

I am currently a graduate student at Drew University. I am obtaining a Masters of Arts in Teaching. I intend to graduate in May 2016. I majored in History in undergrad at Rutgers University Newark, and I graduated in May 2015.

Experience

I tutored students in Turkey in English in the summer of 2014, through a program called Inspiring South Asian Youth. I want to be a tutor because I am pursuing a career in teaching. I absolutely love teaching and helping students reach their full potential. My combined SAT score was 1860 and received a 90% on the Praxis I. I am also currently taking courses on how to be an effective educator.

Hobbies

I love reading, I love writing and I love running. My favorite authors include J.K Rowling, Mitch Albom and Khaled Hosseini. I hope to write my own book one day, after I have completed my Master's. I love expressing my thoughts through writing and feeling words flow out of me. Running is also one of my most enjoyable hobbies. It helps me keep calm when I am feeling stressed. I highly enjoy listening to music and am constantly searching for new bands to listen to.
