I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy playing golf, snowboarding, and exploring the outdoors when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in algebra, calculus, statistics, and business, amongst other things. I first began tutoring while in college at Virginia Tech, when I worked with elementary school students in an after school program. I also began mentoring high school students through the Upward Bound program. In this program, I would meet with an assigned student once a month and help them succeed in their goal of going to college. I also have experience working as a tutor for fellow college students in the field of economics. I'm extremely passionate about helping others learn. That's why I was drawn to the field of tutoring in the first place. I'd love to use the skills I've spent my career developing to help you reach your educational goals.
