I'm an experienced, highly skilled, and imaginative teacher with a palpable passion for my subject and helping others find their footing within it. Underneath the literary prowess and grammar-nerdery, I've got a great sense of humor, which I often employ to make my lessons relatable and fun. I'm a deep lover of the arts and a big proponent of social justice; I find my greatest passions in literature, film, and art, as well as in community activism and advocacy. It's not all airy-fairy, artsy-fartsy stuff, though: Madcap misadventures and hilarious hijinks are a welcome part of my day-to-day, and I can hold my own in a round of Mario Kart. While my standard rate is reasonable for the quality of service I provide, please note that sliding scale rates are available. It's a tough economy, and I'll do my best to reach a fair agreement with you.
